Providers: The number of total providers that you have claiming every month.
Portion online: Typically, 33% or more of your sponsors will use the online claiming option. Some sponsors have up to 50% or more online.
New providers every year: You'll have some turnover in your provider base; typically around 20% or so. This would affect the total cost of the First year fees.

Cost per eClaim: What you are paying now for your eClaiming (or the cost you are comparing)
First year fee per provider: If you are being charged (or are comparing) an e-claiming service that charges you a first year fee for an online provider.
Subsequent year fee per provider: If you are being charged (or are comparing) an e-claiming service that charges you an annual fee for an online provider after the first year.
Annual updates: The fee you are paying each year for updated software.
